To use 3D Topicscape's stunning graphics, you have to have modern graphics hardware and software installed on your PC. We've created a tiny, simple program called "glVersion" that will tell you in seconds if you can run 3D Topicscape.
The program simply checks your computer for the proper hardware and software. Please ensure that you have run the Graphics version checker unless you are confident that your PC meets 3D Topicscape's technical requirements.

Click the download link below and save the file to your Desktop.

Then install by double-clicking the saved exe file.

Action if your PC uses an Intel® graphics chip
Normally we tell our users to make sure they have the latest driver. Temporarily, here's a different case: Some Intel® graphics chips do not work properly with Topicscape if you have the latest driver installed. Going to the previous driver (ver. 14.25) solves this problem. We have been in touch with Intel about this and they are fixing it. For help in finding a working driver, please see our FAQs, Q48.
Intel® 945G, 946GZ, G965, Q963, and Q965 Express Chipsets
Mobile Intel® 940GML, 943GML, 945GM, and 945GMS Express Chipsets. If you would like us to tell you when the driver is updated, send us a message in the form at the foot of this page.
